. . .without explaning his reasons. You need to read the whole thread to understand what is (not) going on.
Does anyone know what's going on? Criticism by innuendo is highly destructive.

Prior is only expressing what a majority of supporters feel on this thread.
I applaud him.
Between 2003 and 2010 Sussex were at the top of the county cricket tree. 11 years on, now look at us! We are residing in Division 3 of the Championship and nowhere to be seen in the 50 over.
Thank God for the T20 Finals Day this season. At least that is something.

We haven't been winning for 12 years now. Therefore what has really changed in the last ten years? The squad is much larger now as instead of signing players capable of playing all three format we sign T20 and hundred mercenaries.

There seems to be some split in the club. No real secrets there. The problem with splits is that’s is easier to believe the noisier party. I’m not on other side of what I know nothing about! However, I think the young talent coming through is very good. I’m wondering if the long term looks good or not.

I hope Prior can give up some of his own time in the close season to develop the squad. That is the right thing to do if he cares.

How have we gone from that to this?

I am not saying you are wrong, but I'm anxious to know what the problem is? Is it their attitude or behaviour? Is someone taking unilateral decisions? Is the focus on one format rather than another wrong? Have they allowed players to choose to play which format they prefer? Has the approach with the ECB been flawed? Has they seen a need to have a clear out of players due to some problems with the players? Do you mean they (Andrew, Greenfield and Warren) are not a good team? Or, what? This season was marketed as 'a new beginning'. Is it? Or, is it the beginning of the end?

Well the obvious thing to say is that they can’t seem to keep hold of our first team players! Under their watch more have left than in the last 20 odd years

Prior either needs to put up or shut up! Put up what? He ain't welcome, just like Adams, when in reality the vast majority of fans would like both Adams and Prior in charge I suspect. There's no innuendo about it Flash, no secrets. The club has gone from the top to the bottom in ten years or so to the point where we're replacing our best players with children. Andrew is the latest problem and there's no secrets there either - he's been perfectly clear on direction. As for Greenfield, it's hard to criticise him because I don't know what his latest job is. If it's to produce youth for the first team I'd say he's doing well. What is it? And who is Warren? Another important factor is that we punched well above our weight through the 2000s and the odds were always against a club of our size maintaining that level of success. When Andrew is out, and the sooner that is the better, we can put all the right wheels in motion with a talented young squad.
