Just read about his Cycling team being wound up in May this year owing 1.8 million.
I wonder when his twitter attacks started?

This is what I’ve been suspecting all along, he’s got another agenda.
Ive never liked the guy since he was found to be a one of the ring leaders in the bullying within the England team.
I’m not saying that there aren’t problems within Sussex but Matt Prior isn’t someone I’d have a lot of confidence in to solve those problems.

Agreed Joe, curiousity got the better of me a little bit so i had a little look at his twitter account.
In June he praised the club for the handling of Ollie Robinson, 2 months later hes launching his attacks for poor management thats been around for a while.

Agreed Joe, curiousity got the better of me a little bit so i had a little look at his twitter account. I dont believe in coincidences. A little digging into his business affairs is very worrying. I would not want him on our board at any level. |

I don't think we can afford to give them another 12 months. We might not have a club by then, and certainly not many members. Prior says that has no agenda and that he certainly isn't looking for a job, and I believe him. I think he is simply despairing of what is going on with the running of the club, and we can all of us - with perhaps the exception of Andyb - see that things aren't going well.
As for Joe's reference to "bullying" by Prior when he was in the England team, I've never seen a single England player ever criticise him, with the obvious exception of KP. Au contraire, he is highly spoken of and thought of by his former England team mates, as far as I can see.

Have to give the youth 5 years under a stable set up. Where Sussex let themselves down, at the moment, is in their comms. Where is Halsall? When is the new batting coach arriving? Hope these questions can be asked to Kirtley and Salisbury later this month. |
