So 56 to win.
England were good but the Windies were bad.
Good to see Tymal in the wickets.

Yep great to see proud BLM supporters Tymal Mills & Chris Jordan in the wickets and congratulations to born & bred Englishman Moeen Ali on man of the match and born and bred Englishman Adil Rashid on taking 4-2. Well done England!

Well done England! Not disputing that they are born and bred Englishmen, only that they were conspicuously silent when the rest of the squad were singing the Anthem. Respect goes both ways.

Well done England! That's exactly the point, they're both born and bred Englishmen. Not so proud of it though it seems. I suspect Mills and Jordan support anti racism not Marxism. I could be wrong though. Jordan is born and bred in the Windies but he's proud of the shirt. Anyway, great start for the mighty England. Steady.

A few more in the crowd for the India/Pakistan game with another estimated 1 billion watching on tv and online.
Pakistan the winners by 10 wickets. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Barbar Azam continue to impress. India were never really in the game. Winning the toss in these evening games is proving a big advantage.

The eternal question - what to do about De Kock? And no, I am not an African American woman in need of a man. Good for him. Nobody should be forced to support anything, and especially not Marxism masquerading as equality.

Not sure what there is to be done really, he's free to take this course of action but he also has to live with the consequences of it, if this is the hill he wants to die on I doubt the SA board will cave in despite him being a senior player. It seems to have been handled quite badly by both sides, the SA board didn't give nearly enough time before the tournament when they issued their directive and pretty poor by de Kock for choosing to pull out on the morning of the match.
Anyway, lets hope England can keep up the momentum today and comfortably dispose of Bangladesh and can Namibia win another famous victory?

Well it's probably gonna be the end of De Kock isn't it? In which case, top middle order batter/skipper available. Maybe we could get him on some sort of non overseas contract, some loophole type deal. If only...
It's a big deal though Randall. He's their best player, very interested to see what happens. Something has to give. Agree about the poor handling that's for sure. Bizarre really.

He's almost too good for Sussex!

yet again CSA making themselves look a disorganised mess, all of this sillyness could have been easily avoided but well done to de Kock for being the bigger man, he came across really well in his statement

The bigger man? He's realised he's set to lose millions because of this horrendous movement sweeping across the globe and he's backed down. He's no big man. Financially astute maybe.

Big one today. Huge one in fact. I've skipped three family funerals for this - same car.
Come on England, cannot lose to the Convicts, no sir.
