I’ll be cheering for NZ in the final, as I guess most will. I don't mind who wins as long as it's a good game played in the right spirit, I find a lot of the mud slinging aimed at the Australian team and their fans a bit silly when most of it could be applied to England at times as well.

I’m not supporting NZ because I’m against Australia, it’s because I think NZ deserve to lift a WC after the 50 over WC final where England had all the luck on the day and they were such gracious losers.

That’s exactly why I’ll be supporting New Zealand. I also prefer their brand of sportsmanship.

Yeah there's that too which makes more sense than people still droning on about underarm deliveries. Poor old Devon Conway, bit of a tragic way to miss the final www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/59251263

I don’t think the format does much to establish the best T20 team in the world. Of course, no sporting competition does; it’s all about what happens on the day. I think there are a few distinct weaknesses, particularly as T20 games can hinge on one over, one batsman, a couple of mi****s that plop into gaps and so on.
There are several things that have made it a lottery:
1) Only two teams from each group qualified. You have to feel sorry for South Africa. 2) Run rate to separate teams is a fairly arbitrary differentiator when the differences are fairly small 3) The groups were unbalanced 4) 5 games for qualifying are not enough when some games are so one-sided 5) The semis and, especially, the final should be best of three 6) Each of nine teams could play each other once with two games on simultaneously, if necessary. There is no need for four day gaps for any team. 7) The toss seems to be so important. I don’t have a solution to this. The best I can offer is that each team gets drawn to bat first or second an even number of times where possible.
This all sounds like sour grapes as though I think England should be in the Final. If we are unlucky, arguably, Pakistan and South Africa have more justification to feel hard done by.
I hope some thought is given to the format, although I wonder if most people prefer a lottery.

'Oh I'm so depressed, someone called me a name, this is likely gonna make me wanna kill myself in 12 years time, oh I think I'm going to feint, my diamond incrusted shoes are too tight and my Ferrari's the wrong colour, oh whatever will I do?' There's murder, rape, Paedophiles, disease, virus, thousand dying on roads, children dying of cancer and a load of lefty virtue signalling wet-bags and con men wanna moan about name calling. Get a grip. And put my Jordan joke back up, it was hilarious.

Here's a few cliche expressions that are consistently woven into the narrative of those who are too unempathetic to understand: Banter Woke Wimp Pull yourself together Man up Woke Left wing I'm sure you can suggest many more

You're not allowed to use the same one twice, that's cheating.
Take out the 'em' in unempathetic and I think you've nailed it.
I rest my case.

'Woke' is used so often, I thought it deserved more than one mention. You don't seem to understand empathy, so I'm surprised you couldn't add to the list of cliches. Please don't un-rest your case!

Well, gotta hand it to the Aussies. Looked like the worst team in the comp against us, no plan, no ideas, no confidence, and a big fat world cup at the end of it. I think they're gonna wipe the floor with our beleaguered boys in the Ashes. Root and Bairstow are probably s*****g themselves about the game of cricket as we speak. I'm betting on a white-wash. Or whatever it's called in the 21st century. A nice-wash?
