Wow, on the same day it has come out that the PCA paid off Rafiq’s gambling’s debt’s too! I wonder if there will be claims for unfair dismissal incoming? YCCC were found guilty of persistent racial discrimination by an independent review body. They have also admitted to having been institutionally racist. What on earth have Rafiq's gambling debts got to do with that? You seem to have joined those who believe that YCCC must be innocent because Rafiq has an imperfect past! These people were coaching and medical staff, many would not have been highly paid and now not only have they lost their jobs, they have been publicly tarred as racist making finding future employment very difficult in the current climate of ‘guilty as charged’. In their personal life all their friends and neighbours will know how they lost their job and why. That might be fair enough if they were complicit, but were they, all of them, really??? You appear to have assumed their guilt but do you know for certain they are all racist? |

Yorkshire players threaten to quit. I hope it's true and I hope they do. Fight extremism with extremism, it's the only language these despicable people know. The alcoholic, gambling addict, racist sex pest is a liar and a conman. All of the good people of Yorkshire should fight this with everything. I hope it’s true too. Once again the little people get thrown to the wolves to appease the angry mob. Moxon and Gale will be fine, financially anyway, if not mentally, and their sackings may be justified . But how can sacking everyone just to be seen to be doing something be right? How is that going to improve race relations? How can it not stir up resentment if those left know their friends were sacrificed and tarred racist just for public relations reasons? How could anyone working for Yorkshire CCC trust Lord Patel now? |

Sorry, when you stated the club had been found guilty of institutional racism I thought you were implying they must all be guilty. I think the fact that Rafiq ran up gambling debts that were repaid by the PCA, who he later claimed hadn’t really helped him, showed his testimony had holes in it. |

Ah my apologies, someone else said that and not you. Nobody said it. Why is Adil Rashid so silent? If he's been a victim or witnessed racism he's certainly keeping his powder dry. Any notional spin doctors wanting to give even more ballast to the narrative would be telling him to speak out publicly if he's got a story to tell. |
