The attendances at 50 over games weren't very impressive last year. Lords was barely half full for the "showpiece" final. I recall also a semi final at Edgbaston with a crowd of CC proportions.
I also heartily dislike the 2:00 - 10:00 timetable for these matches. If you're going to play them, they are better suited to Sundays.

I can see the point in a 2pm start for games covered by Sky but some counties (eg Kent) seemed to have most of their home games as day-nighters. I'm not suggesting that the 50 over format is better overall, merely that it personally suits me more than the 40 over gig. And if a large enough number of folks with similar preferences bothered to participate in the ECB survey....? |

Does anyone agree? Is it worth someone constructing a poll on the 2015 fixture list? What do you think is wrong with it? I think it is ok, tbh. |

They knew what they wanted and they didn't want to risk public opinion contradicting them. |

If you're going to play them, they are better suited to Sundays. 2.00 pm weekdays is hopeless if you still work, if I was to attend a game I would miss the first 20-30 overs anyway. I think the price of the games is a good indication of how 'popular' they are. |
