The attendances at 50 over games weren't very impressive last year. Lords was barely half full for the "showpiece" final. I recall also a semi final at Edgbaston with a crowd of CC proportions.
I also heartily dislike the 2:00 - 10:00 timetable for these matches. If you're going to play them, they are better suited to Sundays.

I can see the point in a 2pm start for games covered by Sky but some counties (eg Kent) seemed to have most of their home games as day-nighters. I'm not suggesting that the 50 over format is better overall, merely that it personally suits me more than the 40 over gig. And if a large enough number of folks with similar preferences bothered to participate in the ECB survey....?

Does anyone agree? Is it worth someone constructing a poll on the 2015 fixture list? What do you think is wrong with it? I think it is ok, tbh.

They knew what they wanted and they didn't want to risk public opinion contradicting them.

If you're going to play them, they are better suited to Sundays. 2.00 pm weekdays is hopeless if you still work, if I was to attend a game I would miss the first 20-30 overs anyway. I think the price of the games is a good indication of how 'popular' they are.
