How many of those have played 2nd 11 T20s this season, should give the chance to the players that have helped get them there not first team players or county champ players who haven't helped.

Orr, Hudson-Prentice, Ibrahim, Crocombe, Atkins and Hunt played the last 2XI match. No capped players either so well within the rules. There have been 10 matches... All eleven players have played in the competition. Fairer than playing Alsop, Beer, Bopara, Finn, Garton, Mills, Philippe, Rizwan and Wright who played in the earlier matches. There have been 10 matches... Most of those I mentioned have played most of them. Rawlins and Ward would have played earlier in the competition. Fairer than playing Wright and Rizwan who also played in the earlier matches. So how will the 2s players learn if you replace them with Rawlins, Carter, Coles, Lenham, FHP? What about Tear, Hinley, Lion Cachet, Currie etc who have played the majority? Is it about winning or building experience in the squad?

Tear, Hinley, Lion Catchet and Currie didn't play the majority because we played Rizwan, Wright, Alsop, Mills, Bopara, Beer, Philippe, Finn and Garton in the first half of the competition. Realistically this is our only chance of silverware this season.

Middlesex XI is likely to be Stoneman, Robson, Eskinazi (c), Cracknell, De Caires, Davies wk, Sowter, Cullen, Wallawita, Greatwood and Kaushal.
Leicestershire XI could be Ackerman, Ahmed, Evans, Hill, Lilley, Mike, Parkinson (c), Patel, Steel, Swindells wk and Walker.
Glamorgan XI could be Byrom, Carey, Carlson (c), C Cooke wk, J Cooke, Douthwaite, Harris, Hogan, Ingram, Northeast and Root.

It is a T20 game. There no reason unless they are Tymal Mills why they cannot play 3 (or 4 if the make the final) T20 games in 3 days as it is only 16 overs.

Middlesex have an appointment with Surrey at Lord's on Thursday, live on Sky. So you'd like to play Sussex first eleven versus Middlesex 2nd eleven in order to secure a trophy. One of the weaknesses of the system, that some teams have a first team match that day, whilst others don't. Leicestershire also have a first team game v Derbyshire.

To take your Middlesex side, which you think is 'likely' (it isn't!) Eskinazi, Cracknell, Davies, Walallawita will all definitely be in the first team squad to face Surrey, possibly Stoneman and Greatwood too. And Cullen out for the next couple of months injured, so your 'likely team' is well wide of the mark.

Eskinazi, Cracknell and Davies are batsmen so could play in London and Arundel on successive days and Wallawita is a spinner so don't see a problem here. Greatwood and Stoneman won't make the Middlesex 1XI. I give you Cullen. Last year they played Holden, Robson, De Caires, White, Andersson, Davies, Wallawita, Bamber and Greatwood. Sussex played Salt, Head and Bopara.

It's THE SAME DAY.
They can't be in two places at once.
