Right that's it, everybody outside. I meant I'm convinced we'd be better placed with two OS bowlers than where we are now, with two OS bats. Given that our domestic bats are better than our domestic bowlers right now. One of each is not so clearly the preference. Although we did just rack up 450 with no runs from either of the OS bats, so maybe not so stupid. Bit stupid though.
The issue for me Phil isn't the Rizwan signing, that seemed right enough at the time, but what of future signings? Isn't this Phillipe in for all forms? We have the scope to revisit that one as it hasn't happened yet.
I can tell Carter is a natural keeper Devon. Of course there's a mistake or two and he ain't at the level of Rizwan yet but he's a natural, it's all over him.
I wouldn't have signed any loans in the first instance Ash, it's weak, it means you've cocked up. We have an academy and it's producing time and time again of late. I wouldn't be opposed to signing Alsop properly now though. Looks pretty decent on a Hove featherbed.
Let's have some fun:
Haines Orr Clarke Carter Ibrahim Rawlins H-P Garton Lenham Cummins Rabada
I'm telling ya, that team would have got us more points than the 3 or so we have now. Even if 8 of them are injured.

Very light on batting and bottom heavy I’m afraid. There we go, point proved.
But you’re right, we have cocked up big time, management has been abysmal, that is particularly why we had to bring in Alsop and others. Everyone on here acknowledges that.

And the current side is very light on bowling and top heavy I'm afraid. There we go, point proved. The real point is we'd be better off with two OS bowlers than two OS bats. The agreeable point across the board is that we'd be better off with one of each, which is doable and a necessity, especially if we lose Robinson.
We could acknowledge it and then never mention it though. And we could just stare out a window and dribble down our chin.
