On the road again.
Can’t see any changes to the team as the squad is unchanged for this one although we could play Lenham for Crocombe if Bopara bowls his full allocation.
Wright Rizwan Orr Alsop Bopara Ward Rawlins Khan Lenham Mills Finn

Can Finn & Mills bowl 7 or 8 overs, EACH, over 3 days? Seems a big ask of anyone, that has a back like a 90 year old floor tiler.

Glamorgan won the toss and have put us in.
Unchanged team.

We just can’t get the batters and bowlers to fire in the same game.

Finally, Harrison Ward plants one into the crowd. I thought we were going to go the whole innings without a maximum.
...and then gets stumped.
He probably should have come in higher up the batting order.
We may struggle to get 150 here.
It is a thankless task being a Sussex supporter at present 😥.

Glam need 150 to win @7.5
Not holding out much hope.

Glamorgan should chase this down with only Wright, Alsop and Rawlins reaching double figures.

149-8. Could have been worse if they had held all their catches.
I hope I am wrong, but probably thirty runs light.
Another good knock from Delray. Hopefully, those who so readily and easily come on here to rip him to shreds will be equally enthusiastic to give him credit. That's three decent and sensible innings in a row.

Yes fair play Delray has done well recently. Let’s hope he’s given his full allocation of overs today.

Another match, another defeat!! The less said about Finn's 19th over the better. Oh, how we lack quality death bowling!!
That is the fourth straight defeat and with the undefeated Surrey up next, I seriously question how, if, when and most importantly where our next win will come from.
In all seriousness I can see us losing all our remaining T20 matches. It is difficult to tell from the stream as opposed to being at the ground, but the body language of the players suggested complete deflation, even when we took those late wickets to give a glimmer of hope.
I look at the two respective sides and line ups. Glamorgan have some decent players, but with only two wins prior to today and missing two of their better players this afternoon are at best an average side who were never going to qualify beyond the group stage. Yet they have beaten us easily now on two occasions this season. Let's not be fooled by the late drama this afternoon, we were barely in the match.
As for the actual teams as I said they have some decent players. We fielded two of the current best international T20 players in the world, alongside four players with international experience with England, one very recently who you could argue still harbours ambition for further involvement.
Am I being unreasonable to question why we aren't seeing better performances? Or perhaps what touches a more sensitive nerve, why isn't the coaching and leadership group getting more out of this team?
Wins again today for Derbyshire and Leicestershire.
