Well done Currie.
Our spinners are extremely poor! Rawlins bowling absolute rubbish. How do you bowl 5 no balls as a spinner?

What a debut for young Currie, the stuff dreams are made of.
485 all out, a lead of 38.

What's rank Gordy is playing one. Playing two? Three? I've lost count. Maybe I should go from when they were 16. That's what's rank. The three 17 year olds we've played in the last two games shouldn't be anywhere near the first team yet. I would have thought extremely poor is worse than piss poor CP. It's a bit more light hearted at least. I'd rather be piss poor than extremely poor. LB, he's a natural keeper I tells ya. He's got the mullet, a little tash, what else do you need? I'm trying to remember a game in the CC this year where Sussex played on a sporting wicket, home or away. Where have they gone? I know our bowling is laughable, bordering on piss poor, but these constant roads are good for nothing. Rather lose a decent game than draw a boring one that has its cards on the table by the end of day 2. P.S. You blew if Phil, you went too far. I'm back in the game.

Are the road pitches being produced because even the groundsman thinks we are rubbish? I called a draw in the Leicestershire game after four sessions.

If the Club allow Sarah Taylor to do her job with the home grown keepers, we'll be fine. But stop paying silly money for big named overseas keepers. It if they do hire Rizwan again, share the keeping duties. Common sense really. Rizwan was incredibly popular in the dressing room, i suspect he will be back as a batter only which will appease the PCB. Would love Riz to start a long term relationship with Sussex, like so many other Pakistani greats before him. What a superstar this fella is

Think Currie and karvelas made a world of difference with the ball, anyone know from whereast they come and if we keep em then will be starting to make improvements overall to the squad and team.

Finally a game. Counter attack needed, flip it on their arses. There's no diff in a loss or a draw for us this season. Thanks to our leaders.
Lover, presumably you mean Riz and Puj to share the season between them? They can't take up 2 berths, can't make that mistake again.

If they are producing roads CP cos they think our bowling is bad, they are incredibly stupid. If you bat strong but bowl weak it surely should be the other way round - bowler friendly. That's if you wanna win a game or two. They know we bat strong.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it's very simple to make a wicket sporty. Leave a bit on for once.

The primary difference in this match is one that has been a predominant feature for Sussex over the last two seasons. Failing to capitalise on a strong position. With 523 on the board and the opposition 137-4, quite simply we let them off the hook. We badly lost our way in the last session yesterday.
We need to learn how to press home an advantage. How on earth do we now find ourselves scrapping to save the match on the last day?
Watch how Middlesex put us to the sword now we have opened the door for them. The difference between an experienced side and young inexperienced youngsters who have been exposed to this scenario far too often and are scarred by consistent defeat.
A real positive the two newbies, a Sussex seamer with a six wicket haul, unheard of in modern times. Let's keep our feet on the ground though, they are both relatively inexperienced. Extend their trials to the end of the season and if they continue to produce, stick a contract under their noses double quick before another County comes calling. This doesn't negate the fact the bowling unit will still need additional strengthening.
More worryingly, they both out performed Finn. He did well against Leicestershire, but overall he needs to do a lot better a lot more often and needs to start taking wickets. To date, it has been a disappointing signing.
Carter, always rated him highly read my other posts. Also, in my other posts stated plenty of work for Sarah Taylor to do with him. The three dropped catches have proved costly and that cannot become the norm. Sponge made an excellent point in an earlier post, management haven't helped him this season. He should have been playing from game one and I still don't understand how he didn’t get a look in during our abysmal T20 campaign.
Barring something special from Delray and young Ibrahim, I suggest we all starting hoping it rains and rains heavily. If not, we could well be rolled over for less than a hundred.
My last and biggest gripe. The BBC Middlesex commentator. He was a constant source of irritation during the live stream of the T20 fixture earlier this season and if at all possible has got worse. Not sure, which is most annoying his myopic biased commentary or his boring morose drivel. I can't even mute him as I lose the sounds from the outdoor effects microphone. I really hope one of Glamorgan, Derbyshire or Worcestershire pip them for the second promotion spot, purely because of him!

I'd rather Middlesex get promoted so we don't have to listen to him over two 4-day games next season.
