Err, 2% for our win cos we have to take 10 wickets. 8% for their win cos you've set a very stiff target there, I would be a bit more generous. So 90% draw. It's all about little permutations. The possibility of little twists & turns. And at worse if they just say no chance it could come back to bite them on the arse and therefore create a little history.
I would have set 230 off 25. They would have probably batted hard and if it went tits up shut up shop. So yeah, somewhat of a hiding to nothing for us, all though you never know. It's about a mindset, what you're saying as a skipper, and offering a promotion chasing side a tough chance to see how much they want it. I like the idea of the oppo turning it down then missing out on promotion by several points, which could happen. They won't look back on this game if they just miss out now cos no chance was created but if we'd have set them a stiffy, they would have done. Or they might have won a great finish with a great display so fair play to them. Or they might have gone giddy and we might have rose to the occasion and flipped it on there arses.
