Campbell, Carter, Clark (c), Crocombe, Foreman, Haines, Hunt, Ibrahim, Karvelas, Lenham, Lion-Cachet, Rogers, Tear.
Knowing Sussex this will be the game they turn the Galmorgan hoodoo around, illogical defeats so far maybe this will be an illogical victory. The batting has to fire at some point and turn these 30s and 40s into matchwinning scores.

This will be a tough test for our youngsters. Glamorgan are pretty much at full strength and are unbeaten so far in the competition. They thrashed Surrey on Sunday, whose lineup, included Burns, Sibley and Foakes. It took them only 16 overs to chase down the surrey total. Let us hope for a competitive match at the very least.

Crocombe being rested is very odd, he has performed well and has played 3 games all year

That's just about Glamorgan's first 11. You're right, Big score required

Crocombe being rested is very odd, he has performed well and has played 3 games all year I think Farbrace has done a fantastic job, but I can't understand the logic behind this decision. Not only has he been the one player who has stood out and played consistently well in this competition, but given how little first team cricket he has played this makes absolutely no sense. Even more so, when the likelihood of him featuring in the remaining Championship games is unlikely given Unadkat and Robinson and the left arm option of Hunt who has done well are all ahead of him. So, how many will our nemesis Carlson score today? Given he destroyed Somerset to secure our home T20 quarter final, I will be ever so slightly less annoyed if he does get another big score against us.

After a promising start, all beginning to look a bit ominous.
Rogers had a bit of luck second ball, but overall very impressed with his positive approach. I thought we might be about to witness a breakthrough innings, but unfortunately it wasn't to be.
We really needed Haines to deliver. A lot resting on Carter now.
Realistically another score of around just under or just over 200 beckons, which will be nowhere close to being enough against this strong Glamorgan batting line-up and our very inexperienced bowlers.

Batting continues to be a major issue for us in this competition. Haines struggling to find the form he showed early season. Clark is a squad player, who will get the occasional score, but is not a consistent run maker. Carter still adapting to his demotion to Simpson. Ibrahim a shadow of the outstanding prospect he looked a couple of seasons ago. Beyond that you are hoping for something special from Rogers, Tear or Lion-Cachet. Hopefully, the former can rediscover their form and mojos in the remaining matches and the latter will benefit and learn from the experience.

By the way, why on earth hasnโt someone given a Hundred contract to Kiran Carlson?
