Yet again failed to bat out our 50 overs and no batter with a score over 50.
Nice little cameo from Foreman and Lenham, but the game was already gone.

Good effort after a feeble middle order collapse in our innings.
They are all pushing each other on and clearly want to win.
Excellent bowling from the spinners and Ibrahim.
Thoughts on Tear? I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s overtaken Carter as Simpson’s deputy.
Interesting that Clark didn’t bring Hunt back at the end.

Well bowled Foreman, Ibraham and Lenham. Hunt had a shocker and Campbell doesn't look quick enough or swing the bill to succeed at 1XI level (can't see why Crocombe and Karvelas were dropped which was a big mistake by Farbrace).
We lost the game because because we conceded 21 more extras than Glamorgan including 5 wides and 5 byes did not help matters.
Carter is ahead of Tear if Simpson gets injured in a game where the result matters. Carter scored 96 in the last county championship game. Maybe a change of haircut would improve Carter's form with the bat. There is more in the locker.
