One forgets our Sussex CCC Coach is a man of many talents. Apart from his former International fast-bowling success, then cricket coaching and media skills alongside his recent championing of the vegan movement, did you know Dizzy once emblazoned the world batting ranks after stupefying the world with a remarkable performance? After fellow Aussie, Marnus Labuschagne, scored a 200 against New Zealand during the New Year Test at the SCG after being stuck on 199 for 20 minutes, thus joining the "200 Club", we discover that Dizzy is the present Chairman of this prestigious elite group. www.foxsports.com.au/cricket/australia/australia-vs-new-zealand-marnus-labuschagne-200-century-scg-test-scores/news-story/9c54bd7a2add91fb32aec6591e448a29WHAT you may say (!) but yes... former Aussie seamer Gillespie actually scored 201* against Bangladesh in April 2006, helping Australia to win the match by an innings and 80 runs. And here is the evidence. This is the highest run tally ever scored by a night watchman. Gillespie's 'dizzying' batting performance. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sny6UmZJDQ

Are you the last to know about this? Most people have known since 2006!

This post is aimed at those Sussex and cricket supporters who don't know about Gillespie's past. There are plenty of them.

Amazing what a friendly football kick-a-bout with your mates can do to your sporting career.

This is completely "off-piste" - I don't care - for taking the Hollywood piste makes all these excruciating award shows worthwhile. Gervais... you're the true star.

The England man of the match now thanks the Barmy Army for their fantastic support. Ben Stokes walks on water.

What a bizarre 'YouGov' poll. Cook at No.1 and not Ben Stokes? Monty Panesar in 5th place!! Is he a contemporary cricket player? And so on... This poll is almost as peculiar as the Huffington Post one stating Hillary Clinton had a 98.2% chance of beating Donald Trump on the eve of the 2016 US Election. At least Tymal Mills sneaked in at 19th.
