Which would make it even more unlively. Why anyone would want to live near Piers Morgan when you see and hear more than enough of him in the media? ššš

Am, Former Sussex CCC Chairman, David Green, lives in Woodmancote. Partridge Green is a village. It has a population of 1,500 people and anything from 500+ transforms from a hamlet to a village. I just learned that. A village also needs a church to be called a village. A bit of useless information for a Saturday. Shermanbury is probably closer to where Adams now lives than Partridge Green.

With reference to what I said earlier that some public schools are snooty about football or only play it as a fringe sport, this seems to apply to Seaford College which employs Adams as a cricket coach since football doesn't appear to feature on their sports curriculum.
In view of Adams's main interest and ability in football as a Winter sport rather than rugby or hockey I would have thought he was missing a trick not finding an Independent school that could maximise his potential to the greatest effect.
Bedes in Hailsham which seems to be a conveyor belt in supplying professional cricketers appears to focus exclusively on football as its main Winter sport. Slightly surprisingly, the more elite public schools also give the option of playing football on an equal footing to rugby and hockey, eg Brighton College.
Given the onerous fees of an Independent School Education it was interesting to note that many nearby state alternatives to Seaford College like Collyers, Midhurst College, Bishop Luffa and it's near namesake Seaford Head School can more than hold their own when it comes to achievement in academic exams based on the most recent data.

Phil Salt continues his "average performances" for the Adelaide Strikers in the present BBL10 Tournament. Neither shining or failing. To date, he has played in each match. After 9 games Salt's scores are as follows: 6, 8, 28, 25, 51, 4, 1, 8, 59 = 190 runs at an average of 21. So, two fifties, two twenties and the rest in single figures. State of PlayThe Strikers presently lie in 4th place amidst a hotly contested competition this year. They have won 4, lost 5 and have 5 more games before the qualifying rounds begin. The final top 5 compete. Of the 8 teams involved only the Melbourne Renegades look set not to qualify. So, everything still to play for. Meanwhile, Phil Salt needs to be more consistent and up his game.

Leopards donāt change their spots comes to mind. Hope the ICC do the right thing and punish both Smith and Paine . Cricket Australia should immediately ban them for the next game. If not we will all know the last 2 + years has been a a token effort by Australia to improve their image.

At least one bat short now Laurie has gone I think I'd agree with that lovelyboy. If Wright and Salt both score less than 30, we struggle to get a decent total. The number 3 slot is the problem. Last season, no.3 scored as follows: Finch 10 Rawlins 8 Finch 8 Finch 14 Rawlins 10 Rawlins 62 not out MacLeod 9 Thomasson 5 Rawlins 1 Rawlins 4 Rawlins 6 Besides the one outlier, it makes pretty dismal reading.

Adams never lived in Bolney. You are confusing him with John Snow. Adams lives just outside Henfield where he's resided since 1997. He lived in Handcross when I picked Peter Moores, Ian Salisbury and their wives up from a rowdy party at the Adamsās 15 - 20 years ago. Peter Moores lived in Henfield and I believe CA bought his house after he (PM) left.
