Looks like interest in 50 over cricket has hit rock bottom - no thread 24 hours before game! Are we going to be a bit lonely in an empty ground? No sign of a squad on club website. Sky seem to have lost interest too; schedule doesn't show any match for today or tomorrow.

It would be interesting to know what the Sky viewing figures are for this tedious tournament, and how they compare with T20 audiences. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Weather not looking great for tomorrow, rain forecast at 4:00pm getting heavier by 8:00pm but it's 24 hours away and could easily change.
I would expect our key players to be rested and saved for Friday's CC game.
I won't try to guess the squad, it'll be a nice surprise, or not!

Encouraging to see Hatchett back in the squad and some of the fresher faces. Could be an interesting match after all !

Where is Hudson-Prentice? He could have played instead of Machan or Cachopa. Liddle should miss out. We want to see what Garton and Hatchett can do because they are the future.

Where is Beer, seems no matter how bad Sussex are he doesn't even get a look in.

H-P is with the seconds at Canterbury. Machan is captaining, because he's the most senior regular there and its a good career option to give him that chance. Liddle is in for Garton, which doesn't help matters - but I don't think Hatchett is the future.
