It's the batsmen who need the need the stick instinct. Predictive text-who saw that coming? I thought the guy looked very good, troubling top Aussie bully batsmen. Share your reservations regarding injuries- surely a fundamental along with motivation in any appointment?
As I'm the cleverest and only person in the room I'm in HH, I will answer your troubled query. It means his slower ball isn't that slow.
Actually it's the other way around: his quicker ball is medium pace and his slower ball is...er, slow, slow, slower.
He bowled OK v the Aussies, I thought. My concern was that he has the build of a stick insect and looks far too frail for the rigours of county cricket.
But hey, let's be positive. He's several classes above Chris Liddle. . .
He ain't playing in the CC is he, which is where all the rigour is. He should manage four overs a couple of times a week.
If his slower ball is very slow then the chap whose paragraph HH highlighted is either wrong or he disagrees. His unnecessarily complicated example means that his slower ball isn't much slower than his stock ball.

Or he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about, which is largely my point.

Really? I got confusion from your post. Why do you highlight what speed a bowler he is when the writer is just using 77 and 87 for his example?
Just been watching the lad, looks good to me too - bowls full a lot - get forward. Quality mix ups though. Fact remains, a number five blaster, like Miller or someone, is where the space in the team is. Although we have the opportunity to promote Salt this way, so I'm happy after all. Better do it.
Another outstanding performance from "The Fizz" tonight in the IPL. Ending with figures of 4-1-9-2 and receiving the man of the match award. The maiden came during the powerplay and also had a run out in it; a result of the pressure that had been built up.
I don't get this resting bowlers after T20's. They bowl 4 overs and then stand in the field for an hour and a half. What is so taxing about that? I know they train as well but that should be routine stuff which professional cricketers would be doing all the time. I could understand if he had just bowled 100+ overs in a test series and been in the field for days at a time but in the course of this tournament he will bowl about 60 overs at most.
How can the decision be still pending? Surely Sussex wouldn't have made the announcement that he's coming if the decision is still pending? As they say, there's no smoke without fire and I can see this panning out badly for Sussex.
I'm unable to access this link. What is it saying?
