This sounds very ominous. Sussex need to seek immediate clarification (I'm sure they are doing so), and if there is a strong chance that he's not going to show up until half-way through the T20 Blast (not to mention the RLC), then his contract should be cancelled and an alternative sought without delay.

I was going to say that Rahman's (The real one) action does not seem at all suspect. It's fairly orthodox with some scary flexibiltiy in the wrist.

It seems as though we are picking on Mr Rahman. Isn't it the norm that fast bowlers don't take part in many games if they come to Sussex? If only, there was a T5 tournament for Mills and Rahman.

He's gone from zero to hero in a relatively short period of time and is still very young, must be quite overwhelming for him at times, I hope he's being managed properly. |

Wouldn't read too much into that site. It's basically a fan site which shoves up some strange news stories occasionally. No sources are given in that story and you would hope that if the rumours (and that is all they are!) are true then Sussex will have replacement lined up.

The story appears to be based on comments froms Fizz's "close acquaintance". Forgive my ignorance, but does that count as a 'source' in journalistic terms? |
