Presumably because we know more about Cachopa's prowess with the gloves than that of Shafique? There is probably no thought of signing Shafique as reserve keeper as we released Jackson because we couldn't afford one. If Brown gets injured Cachopa would play and so he needs as much practice as possible. But if we can't afford to continue playing Brown and can't afford to replace him with a reserve who doesn't score runs either, what's Plan C?

Cachopa will come in if Brown is injured. I don't see a need for plan C. Move Brown back to 7 and the problem is solved. Why was Cachopa given a contract extension?

HP gets a fifty. Angela still playing. Is he hoping to get back ahead of Beer in the pecking order? It couldn't happen, could it?

Why is Hatchett batting above Beer?

Why is Hatchett batting above Beer? Most likely just another typically brainless decision from the people that call themselves management. I've forgot who's in charge of the seconds since the last round of musical chairs - could be any one of four or five different clowns. Another little doosie; Why didn't H-P bowl in the last seconds game? He's meant to be an all-rounder, and what do we need right now, since we're pre-programmed to bowl five bowlers at any cost?

The *** team analyst? It also says the joker's gonna do the role in conjunction with being a team analyst. Yes very professional. I dunno whether to laugh or cry. I think he may have missed a couple of things in his analysing over the last few years - H-P's an all-rounder and Beer's a better *** bat than Hatchett, you imbecile. Dear oh dear oh dear. I'm off to play tennis with a squirrel.
Thanks Flash

If Goodwin hadn't been so busy with his business commitments in Australia and so concerned with making the first team's batting so impregnable he would certainly have given the seconds his distinctive touch.

I believe Will Beer was at Hove on Monday morning (finishing off 12th Man duties?) and did not arrive in Taunton until after Lewis had gone out to bat...
