There will be three Sussex players in this tournament: Jordan, Mills and Wright - all continuing their profitable winter following the T20 circuit. Feb 9 - 7 Mar 2017 English players contracted at the moment are: Bopara - Karachi Kings Morgan - Peshawar Zalmi Jordan - Peshawar Zalmi Patel - Peshawar Zalmi Billings - Islamabad United Duckett - Islamabad United Finn - Islamabad United Pietersen - Quetta Gladiators Wright - Quetta Gladiators Mills - Quetta Gladiators Roy - Lahore Qalanders ( until Feb 20) Not sure if matches will be shown on Sky in UK - the official listing of TV broadcasters psl.uresult.pk/tv-channels-broadcasting-psl-2017-live-list/ onltyu refers to Sky Sports NZ.

Perhaps someone should organise a T20 series this year for England Wanderers v Best of the Rest of the Blast.

The UK broadcasters have been announced. A Plus, Channel 44, Prime TV, Geo TV
I have heard of none of those and have no idea if it will be watchable. I'm sure if all else fails there will be a handy stream somewhere!

For anyone with Sky then Geo TV is 807, Channel 44 is 854. Neither appear to be subscription based and look free to sky subscribers and I can see both have opening ceremony and matches in their schedule over the next few days.

All of these are available on SKY foc and on Sky only, so bad luck to people like me who recently opted for Freesat to avoid paying danegeld to the Digger. A Plus is 859 and Prime TV is 792

Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif from Islamabad Utd ... prov suspended by the PCB under its anti-corruption code. Stumbling across today's PSL match on Sky Ch792 today it was a pleasure to renew acquaintance with Danny Morrison whose commentary is the antithesis of the likes of John Arlott. Restraint and the imparting of cricket knowledge are not high on his commentating agenda e.g.: m.youtube.com/watch?v=J5Nv0Fed7kg

Luke Wright must be wondering what he needs to do to get a game for Quetta after KP has scored 3,0,0 in his 3 matches yet still gets picked over him.

Quetta Gladiators have qualified for the final, to be held in Lahore, but already Luke Wright and Tymal Mills (playing for Zalmi who are contesting the other finals place today) have pulled out following the latest bombing attacks last month. Wright tweeted Luke WrightVerified account @lukewright204 11h11 hours ago It's with a heavy heart I will not be coming to Lahore. I have a young family and for me a game of cricket is just not worth the risk 1/3 I'm sorry as I know how much it means to you all and hopefully in the future the safety will not be in doubt to come play there. 2/3 Thanks once again to @teamquetta and @thepslt20 for having me. Such lovely people. Great tournament with so much talent. See u soon 👍 www.espncricinfo.com/pakistan-super-league-2016-17/content/story/1084714.html

Hhs, But how many games has Luke actually played for Quetta? Him not being at the Final is not exactly a huge sacrifice although I fully understand his reasons. My primary concern is... has he come away from the BBL and PSL unscathed? Meanwhile, Mills has returned to his volatile self with 10 ball overs due to wides and no-balls. Sadly, the guy can be a scatter-gun when confidence evades him. As for this particular T20 competition, Freddie Wilde has been raving about it. He thinks it's been the most exciting cricket seen for a very long time. A typical tweetThat was one of the best T20 matches I’ve ever seen. The last 10 days of cricket, back to Match 11, have been utterly thrilling. And another11 days, 10 matches, 8 thrillers. This has been a scarcely believable season & great entertainment.

Certainly, the first qualifier for the Final where Quetta's opponents needed only 2 runs off the last 3 balls and failed was an extraordinary finale. But given such bizarre twists and turns during the tournament the cynic in me immediately leans towards match-fixing.

Yes, he played in the first qualifier for the final - www.cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/1016/1016249.htmlI'm not aware that he carried away any injuries.

Was that Luke's only appearance? To answer my own question. And then he decides, understandably, not to play in the Final. Luke WrightVerified account Still not sure how we @teamquetta won that! Well played @iamahmadshahzad @kp24 unreal hitting. It was nice 2 finally play. Finalists again
And to show what an insane world we live in: Pakistan is actually a safer place than India! CricketZeal @cricketzeal92 Some ground facts here, safer place? 🤔 Bomb blasts in Pakistan = 161 Bomb blasts in India = 406 www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/india-had-the-most-bomb-blasts-in-the-world-in-2016-says-report/story-mNNt9sT9qgyWk6sOdJL35M.html … #PslFinalLahore #PSL HOT OFF THE PRESSBoth Tymal Mills and Kevin Pietersen are also refusing to play in the Quetta Final. @kp24 and @tmills15 withdraw from Pakistan Super League T20 final due to safety concerns: skysports.tv/Pjxvxe

I never was, and am still not convinced by Tymal. He is so inconsistent and, as S&F says, scatter-gun at times it completely eludes me how he commanded such a huge purse for the IPL. I watched the game yesterday and it was interesting listening to Ian Bishop on commentary who said that Tymal should perfect his stock ball before he starts trying to change it up. He was an expensive luxury yesterday.
