We seem to be a basket case of a club at the moment

Briggs should be one of the first names on the team sheet, whatever the format

Based on the three first eleven games, and contributions in second eleven games, only three players would be worth their place in the side, Briggs, Brown and Archer. Nash, if you include the University game, has done OK, and were Magoffin not injured, he'd be a starter. All the rest should be playing in games like this, trying to get a bit of form
edit An honourable mention for Burgess as well

Might be? I reckon Horsham at full strength would give us a run for our money at the moment! Horsham? Roffey are a much better team!

Wonder when Burgess will get a go in the first team. Well done to the 2nd XI.

2nd XI lost their SET match yesterday to Middlesex. Phil Salt made his second consecutive 100 but no one else got a big score as Sussex posted 254 all out. Whittingham took the only 3 Middlesex wickets to fall as they won by 7 wickets.
Next game is tomorrow v Surrey at Horsham.

I meant to mention the opening partnership but missed that bit out in error!
