Wright, Nash and Cachopa stuck in Friday afternoon traffic on way to Cherlmsford, and Luke has tweeted that someone else may be needed to open the batting. And I guess if they don't make it and we field first, Robinson and Davis may have to take the field!
Didn't something like this happen to Morgan last year, and Middx gave him a hefty fine?

Is that allowed?

Good old Sussex. The ECB went to great pains to ensure all games in the final round started at the same time, and instructed the counties that usually start at 7pm that they had to start at 5.30 - much to the annoyance of several of them, including Essex and Kent.
And then Sussex goes and subverts the whole plan. Respect!

It's a learning curve for the boys One thing I'm certain of, hiring an overseas bowler for the T20 is a complete no no. We've had supposedly two of the best in Arafat and Gul, and in all honesty, they've faired no better than our own. At the end of the day, it's sixes hit that the public come to see, so any hired guns should be players who add impetus to our scoring

Are Wright, Nasdh and Cachopa still stuck in their traffic jam? If we're playing with only eight fielders, that would explain the score!

I thought Sussex had managed to put the brake on, until I noticed BBC Cricket Live Scores was stuck

225-3 - is that the highest T20 total Sussex has ever conceded?
Wright, Cachopa and Nash should have stayed in their traffic jam. We would at least then have the excuse of saying we only had eight fielders!
