Andy B. I’ll give you a FACT.
Div 3 - 6th (Bottom) winless against our fellow Div 3 counties in first class cricket. So that makes us 18th out of 18 FCC in 2021 another FACT, not an opinion.
That’s not good enough and in any other sport changes would be made.
Like I said I’m all for opinions but don’t spout rubbish. Your mate needs to go.

Agreed but you said Greenfield should be sacked for being the worse performing team over the last 4/5 years which i pointed out wasnt a FACT. Yes last year was abysmal in the CC but Womens cricket thrived, the men got a T20 Finals days, Community Cricket managed to feed starvin children across the county FACT I'm not spouting rubbish, it's hard to debate when the narrative changes to suit an argument. For the record he isnt my mate. |

Sussex cricket as a brand needs an injection of dynamism. From the D of C to the marketing department, it’s just dull. The new logo has gone from ‘a new beginning’ to ‘time for marching’ WTF is that supposed to mean? I’m all for marching forward but not with Dads Army! The very least we need is a dynamic new captain for next seasons CC. Travis Head will be captain i think. He wouldn’t be the worst choice and certainly better than Brown or Haines. He’s having a good season with South Australia in the Sheffield Shield so far where he’s averaging 54. Having said that he also had a good season with them last year but was unable to bring that form to Sussex. |

According to to the Kent press release, Yardy will become Academy Director at Sussex, overseeing the Academy and Pathway. I assume that's a replacement for Halsall? |

Seems like Yardy is a direct replacement for Halsall.
I hope Yardy can support Ash Wright as batting coach for the pro staff.
At least Yardy will know the young pros and their strengths and weaknesses.
Alternatively you could argue we needed fresh coaching blood.
Better the devil you know?

Yeah, not sure if this is a backward step or not. He’s respected by the players and I would guess most of the members but he’s also pretty cosy with the current management. |

Pujara would be an incredible statement signing. Would be brilliant for the club
However losing Ben Brown would just emphasise how bad the club is managed. How on earth could we let him go? It would leave Haines as our most experienced domestic bat which is just crazy

We don't need a three, especially one that would take 3 days to score the same amount of runs that our existing one will.
It would be totally typical of our leaders to try and strengthen the one area where we're set. These are the morons calling the shots. Hopefully the Gopher misread an email or summin'.
