As usual though he didnt say how he intends to pay for it. If you play for Brighton youth you have to pay. Another excuse for him to be televised slagging the club he claims to love off. He likes being wreckless with other peoples money

It wouldn't be reckless would it Gordy. He's saying who shouldn't pay for it, therefore he's implying that Sussex, the ECB or Marcus Rashford should pay for it.

He likes being wreckless with other peoples money And you’ve managed turn it into moaning about Prior and questioning his love for the club (again). Once again, you seem to fail to understand that it’s because he cares about the club that he has been so rightly critical of it and our alarming decline since the days when he was winning championships with us. What would be a better way of him showing his love and passion for the club? Meekly agreeing with everything that’s gone on and praising the chief exec and director of cricket for overseeing the decline and departure of all players with any experience?

If you ever get the chance Tommy ask him how much of Stuart Broads money he lost. Love me or loathe me trust me when i say Fatt Prior is not a nice guy. If you dont trust me ask Chris Nash ask Luke Wright.

Thats harsh he was talking cricket in general. I do think he has a valid point. It is something I have heard many times from parents of promising colts. After attending Sussex trials and then getting selected for an age group pleasure of this achievement is dampened by the demand for money. This has certainly been given as a reason for dropping out when I have enquired if a young player was involved in Sussex age groups

Fatty says something needs to be done which i agree with but who pays for it?

I don’t think Matt Prior is in a position to comment on this issue when he buys custom made bats for his young boys from Keeley at £500 a bat!
Thinks he knows it all, loves the sound of his own voice.
Nasty piece of work.

Wasnt he a Brighton College pupil too, so his parents could afford tuition fees but not his cricket bat?
When he says hes offered to help, im assuming he has offered to take the sessions for free to make it cheaper?

Fatty says something needs to be done which i agree with but who pays for it? I dont know situations in other sports. These lads assume have played with their clubs for a number of years and during this time likely to have purchased clubs Jumper, shirt and cap. Sure no clubs insist on this. As I have said many parents have found it tough when colt is put in Sussex age group sides that they then have to spend out again. Simple answer would be to allow them to wear their club kits.

A quick solution would be to get a separate kit sponsor for the ages groups.

A quick solution would be to get a separate kit sponsor for the ages groups. Yes it would. The ECB should pay not Sussex. My irritance with Fatt Prior is that he chose to sling up the management when its not really their call
