Yes wouldn't be surprised but he has signed a contract so should still play for us next season even without dizzy. We need a huge clear out but fear we don't have the money. Maybe another Spen Cama will appear as on the field we are in trouble.

Tb, Although with Dizzy gone, will Travis Head now decide not to come over next season? This move was very much the instigation of Gillespie due to their Adelaide Strikers connection. Personally, I wouldn’t be bothered if he didn’t Now that’s Dizzy’s gone, maybe we can convince Luke Wright that he does have something to offer in red ball cricket. If Van Zyl is going to be one of our championship overseas players, plus Bopara, do we really need another middle order batsman? Actually, yes we probably do, but more urgently, we need an opener |

At any other club, wouldn't you expect the Director of Cricket to be in total control of the cricket? Sussex's problem in this area is self-inflicted. Don't blame Andrew for our on-field failures. And who is our DOC? Andrew's in charge of the specification isn't he? The spec he passed to the hippy that's been the coach for the last three years said 'win the T20, forget about the other two.' Seriously, who is DOC? It needs to be Adams - we need passion. Give him one year to prove himself, there is nothing to lose. We actually need a player like Adams as much as anything. A captain who can come in a lead properly. I like Brown as a player but as skipper? No. And where on earth is the logic in having a keeper as captain? He has to concentrate on catching every ball. He has way too much on his plate to captain and is a natural vice captain/general anyway. |

With Wells possibly on his way and Evans going, yes we definitely need another one, ideally an opener as you say. |

As brilliant as Adams was as captain in our most successful ever spell, I don’t get why he would be the answer given he hasn’t coached at county level since 2013, and his time with us was even longer ago. Not saying I wouldn’t support him, but as I said earlier, it does kind of smack of trying to recapture past glories. |

Why griz? Because he has passion and a love for the club neither of which dizzy has. He probably jumped ship before he was pushed. Another great decision to extend his contract and he goes within a year. Ok we did relatively well in t20 but we should be aiming for promotion. A reward for championship failure just like when Davis got a contract extension. Greenfield needs to go like dizzy. Andrew needs to improve red ball team or he should go to. We can't do any worse with griz. Give him a chance. Sussex legend who will bring some passion and strong leadership which is what we need.
Need a new captain too. Don't think Ben is up to the job as has enough on his plate. Give it to Head.
