He's got the quicks on his hippy diet of grass and seeds so they were all gassed out after ten overs.

Yet to register a win in both Sheffield Shield and Marsh Cup.
We were sold a dud.

Another drubbing in the Marsh Cup. Bottom and winless in both domestic competitions.
The only saving grace is Travis Head who is top of the batting averages for both. Averages 72.81 in Sheffield Shield and 49.75 in Marsh Cup so far.

An embarrassing loss by 160 runs. Dizzy's chances of taking over from Justin Langer fade by the week.

Surely Dizzy has to be the worst appointment in the history of our club?
First class cricket went backwards Completely wasted the best t20 side in the country Wasted money on expensive signings like Bopara and Meaker Lost a load of our better experienced players like Briggsy and Evans Proceeded over Claydon gate
Cheers Dizz, cheers Grubby

At the time, sacking Mark Davis and appointing Gillespie was Rob Andrew's decision. I remember, at the time, Sussex supporters were delighted and excited by the move. The first season showed great promise with the T20 Final and 4th in the Championship after one stage, it looked as if Sussex would be promoted. The wheels came off in 2019 and this was then accentuated during the Covid 2020 season.
So what went wrong in 2019? That is the question that needs to be asked. Archer departing for England did not help.

Didn't we all celebrate when he was appointed? What on earth has gone wrong with the bloke?
