I have no time for Matt Prior. I met him once when he was young and just about to go on an England A tour. I don’t think I’ve ever met a more big headed person. All he talked about was how he was going to dominate the world of cricket. I’m all for confidence but sometimes a little humility goes a long way. He comes across the same today, like he is the oracle. An ex Police Sargeant i have a drink occassionally told me a very interesting story about Matt Prior. He really isnt a good geezer. He often says hes offered to help on multiple times what he doesnt add were his salary demands didnt exactly adhere to the word 'helping'

What happens if I break an NDA?
What happens if you break an NDA? NDA breach penalties...
Since NDAs are civil contracts, breaking one isn't technically a crime. However, it could come with severe financial penalties. Violating an NDA leaves you open to lawsuits from your employer, and you could be required to pay financial damages and possibly associated legal costs.

Precisely, they arent a contract that stops you from speaking forever, you agree to those terms. If youve accepted them dont moan about them.

If everything is above board and Sussex have nothing to hide why do they need outgoing players to sign NDA’s? It’s just not a good look in my opinion.

It happens in every business Joe we arent the only county, we just have one ex pro that shouts about it, no one else mentions it. If there was big news behind it then rip up your NDA and speak, the truth, like most things at Sussex, is there isnt anything that bad its just a protection thing.

A county cricket club should not be handing out NDA’s to start with. End of!!
On what basis would an NDA be required?
Andrew trying to cover his tracks & a PR disaster. As fans we have the right to know why certain decisions have been taken.

As fans we have the right to know why certain decisions have been taken. You say that but it happens in every county and id imagine every sports club. Brighton made those groundsmen sign NDA's too. They are used to protect commerical interests ultimately and those that sign them get compensated handsomely. Its just used as a Priors Propoganda. I wonder why if Sussex Cricket is so toxic he wants his son in the academy.

I don’t know what all the fuzz about signing NDA’s is about.
It is very common, if not the norm to sign NDA’s in businesses/companies.
Football & cricket are businesses.
Some businesses insist you sign one, when you join them.

Some businesses insist you sign one, when you join them. Exactly this, if you dont really understand them its useful for people to use them to make the club look bad. Truth is no one knows who has signed an NDA if anyone and the reasons why theyve signed it.

Ali Orr is not exactly pulling up trees down the A27. I make his average 11ish after five knocks for his new employers. Will he come good?

I miht have said when he left that his stats las year were underwhelming. I think he'll come good because he's too good a player not too. He may have been badly advised by his agent here and it might have done him better to have stayed. Farbs is big on dressing room fit and from snippets of info given he wasnt overly popular (if you went to the hampshire friendly the player reaction to him also suggested this). Glad in many ways they came in for Haines and got Orr!

Broke his arm in the game last night. Got to feel for the kid, missed most of last year through injury.

Poor sod. Professional sport is a strange bedfellow. Some get injured on a regular basis and others sail through a career with barely a scratch.
Fingers crossed for Jof, in that respect. It's been great seeing him bowl again for England.

Hampshire have some very promising young players too. Orr might find it difficult to get his place back.
