Long-term hopefully we can develop his wicketkeeping.

Well it looks like he gives it a good tug. Is that what you say, tug? I think it might be tonk. Either way, probably gonna have to do it before a single seconds game, as Wright & Bopara have got better things to do.

That's some nice tugging. He looks equally adept at tugging, pulling, stroking and absolutely smashing the life out of it. Oh to be adolescent again.
Anywho, two young keeper/batsmen getting tons in the twos, rock on. Promote, feature, persist. The winning formula.

Need both on the books for a couple of years to bring them into what should be a very powerful young side. Both bat well.

Get Carter. Nobody else lately has been on the books a couple of years before being given a go. Atkins, Crocombe, Carson, Hunt... Bang. do it. Sod the years.

Very good news. Let's hope he will 'batter' the opposition. Good that he paid tribute to those on the SCCC staff who helped and encouraged him - remiss of him not to mention of our 'Performance Director'.

He may well have asked not to be mentioned, from watching his career he's never really wanted the limelight and form watching that video the best part of his job is offering youngsters a contract.

Good grief, andyb !! Why are you so careless about your credibility? Maybe because i am also carefree about what you think of me I feel free to criticise your opinions, but I wouldn't criticise you as a person - I don't suppose I've ever met you. But if your opinions are regarded as biased or illogical (ie lacking in credibility), then people may stop trying to engage with you. Perhaps you'd prefer that?!

I'm on here to express my thoughts as i assume you are. You made a flippant remark about Keith Greenfield and i expressed a tohught i had on that. My opinion is that Keith does a cracking job across all levels of Sussex Cricket, you disagree and thats fine but when i see critique i am entitled to express my thought on that. The level of engagement between posters on this board I'd say has increased since i became a regular contributer but luckily I'm not a stats man.

All I will say is that you've earlier admitted to a bias in favour of a fellow 'scoomber'. That's all.
