Have to admit to watching the Test match today not Sussex but thrilled for Atkins on his 5fer.
Batting out the day a big ask tomorrow but all is not lost…..yet.

Once again our 2 overseas ‘stars’ (more like black holes) are back in the shed. Completely outshone by Ali Orr, on debut, who stuck around for over 4 hours!
35 overs to negotiate after tea to take the draw and 12 points.

Once again our 2 overseas ‘stars’ (more like black holes) are back in the shed. Completely outshone by Ali Orr, on debut, who stuck around for over 4 hours! 35 overs to negotiate after tea to take the draw and 12 points. Agree, it’s not looking good for our ‘stars’ at the moment. With the exception of Brown, we’d have been knackered without contributions from Orr, Ibrahim, Atkins, Carson & Thomason. Well done them. Frankly, if we can bat out the day we deserve a draw. |

Sussex have lost 6-23 since Head chucked his wicket away and he also dropped Malan on 27 who went on to make 199. Meaker is a complete waste of space. Yorkshire to win now.
Our three weakest players in this match have been Head, Meaker and Van Zyl.
