More muddled thinking from a coach who simply doesn't have a clue. Why drop Hinley after one match having given him a contract for the last two games?

I know it's been a tough year but im not convinced its as doomy or as gloomy as the reaction from the fans suggest.
Negatives are obvious there are lots of poor results matched with poor performances. Losing Salt and CJ from the white ball teams is hard to take. Overseas players failing to deliver in 4 day cricket.
Positives -
Another Finals Day (With rashid Khan i think we win that game) We have seen the emergence of some real talent, Ali Orr, Daniel Ibrahim, James Coles, Jack Carson, Jamie Atkins and Henry Crocombe. Tom Haines stunning form Steven Finn Signing
If we sign 2 strong Overseas players and a couple of others i think we could have a really strong XI
(Just as I typr this Orr goes first ball)
I can see the bigger picture but like everyone else i have found this season a frustrating watch.

The Sussex reply so far tells its own story. There's nothing quite like 14 years of CC experience....

The Sussex reply so far tells its own story. There's nothing quite like 14 years of CC experience.... I wonder what it does for these young players confidence reading posts constantly slagging them off. Ive deliberately stayed away from Forums because of the lack of realism from some Fans. Evans was offered a contract but left for more money Briggs was offered a contract but left for more money CJ was offered a contract but left for more money Salt was offered a contract but left for more money Anyone that thinks the club just sat back and let these players go must be mad in my eyes. LEts try some positive comments rather than constantly negative. Just 1 would be nice.

As Matt Prior has stated - and he would know - most of the departures have not been prompted by financial considerations

As Matt Prior has stated - and he would know - most of the departures have not been prompted by financial considerations Can i quote you that Matt Prior has said none of them above were offered contracts? How about applauding Brownys hundred and the emergence of Carter? Nope easier to moan i suppose

A good fight back from Brown and Carter but the latter has now gone followed swiftly by the walking wicket in the same over.

Got to have some sympathy for Delray, who has had an atrocious season. Then again he does have the burger van to run, so can't be losing income wasting time at the crease.
What to do with him next year? Does have talent, but may now be in last chance saloon.

Well done Ben Brown, a great knock. The cream comes to the surface in Division 3. Just needs 31 runs to reach 1,000 runs for the season.
Re: Rawlins, send him off to top batting and mental coaches over the Winter as his last throw of the dice.
