Thanks for the heads up. I'm not sure what to make of this event. Sincere waffle? Let's hope Brown is playing for Sussex in 2022. I'm not as convinced as Salisbury. Although he continued to say Brown was contracted for 2 years, he never once said that he wants to carry on playing for the club. However kept mentioning that they only want players that wanted to play for the club. |

Sussex instagram shows the youngsters bonding with Dyke walks,pilates and badders. If Ben wanted to stay with the Club he would be present. Hope I am wrong. Hey ho, I hope the Brown fan club, especially Adrian H, can get over it and back the new lads. |

That will be hugely disappointing if it's true, especially as the club have now twice more or less promised that he will be staying. Another experienced player leaving and more mismanagement by the club. Even if we bring in a second overseas batsman, we will still be one light (minimum) in the top order so we will have barely strengthened from last season.

If he does leave we'll almost certainly need an overseas keeper/batsman as Carter can't be relied upon for all 3 formats
Maybe back to Carey with Head's influence?

That's not a bad idea actually - the poll in case it isn't clear. Maybe if ask the moderator nicely he'll set one up for me. He does owe me one after all the times he's cancelled me lately. Something along the lines of 'who would fans rather stay at the club, Brown or Andrew? In case that wasn't clear too. There's no hope involved. We all make assertions, it's a message board. Obviously you're more a moderator, mediator, player of devil's advocate, so you probably make fewer. You're too busy asking people to explain the frigging obvious to make your own assertions. Painstakingly boring but that's your shtick.
I might ask the mod to set up a poll asking 'has Flash ever expressed an opinion of his own? - yes, no, or don't make me laugh.' I could make a pretty accurate assertion about that too.

It’s to be welcomed, and I’m actually quite surprised that a committee containing messrs Warren, Andrews and Greenfield has allowed/agreed/vetted Adams joining them. Hopefully he can have a major influence and shift the direction in which we’re going. Like the thought of him going head to head with Andrew.

The choice of Adams could be his reward for keeping quiet on Twitter when Matt Prior "was all guns blazing"
last season.
In the past, Adams was not a diplomat, held his heart on his sleeve and shot contentious views from the hip.
Diplomacy comes with age, perhaps?
