I think we should keep climbing the innovation ladder and play two bowlers, eight batsmen, no keepers and a Dalmatian. Really try and shock our opponents to the point of spontaneous combustion. Surely leaving the points for us and our new captain Fido.
Failing that, Robinson for Alsop.

The Times this morning says that Robinson was due to play this week for Sussex but now won’t be “because of illness”.

I think something lurks behind the scenes?
Robinson NOT happy with the coaches or management and wants away?
However, he needs a game soon to get back into the England side.
What's the point of dropping Alsop, a high trumpeted loan signing? What would that say about
Salisbury's ability to spot talent?
It's finding a bowler that is the problem. None of the 4 day spinners is up to the task/standard,
the seamers are still, just 2 team standard, we have no-one to bring in.
How's Garton? Someone has the inside info on him. It must be serious then? Complications from Long Covid?
Poor lad.
Carson, how's his fitness? Another poorly managed injury recovery by the management?
Roll on T20 when we'll have some men playing rather than the U19's.

Robinson was out playing golf yesterday so don’t know what this ‘illness’ is?
Sussex have signed Kent all-rounder Grant Stewart on a month long loan.
Delray has been substituted out of the 2’s game, presumably to go up to Worcestershire.

I cannot fathom how you combat an issue. It seems to be to weaken it further. You're *** insane. This team has two bowlers, one all-rounder and a very part-time spinner. Do you know where the problem is? This side cannot win. Bowlers bowl and batsmen bat. Where is Finn? Even if we play the right amount of bowlers this is the weakest attack going. Why do we bring in loans who are s**t rather than just playing seconds? This Robinson thing stinks. And if Gordy thinks the management are useless there's really no other lines to cross. |

I've seen an actual article on it and this guy from Kent comes with a recommendation from the most hated man in Sussex. No, not Gordy, and not one of the countless sex attackers roaming the streets, either from the local constabulary or neighbouring boat people, but Keith Greenfield. Ah, that guy.
