Has anyone found the feature on the Live Stream to mute Adrian Harmes? Did Harmes ever play cricket? He has a very shallow view of cricket; he just reports and states the bl**ding obvious. Thanks goodness the Worcester commentator understands cricket.

Here we go again.
Haines out: 34-2 - Sussex already staring down the barrel. Pressure on Pujara to get a high score.
The problem is, this situation is all so predictable. Miracles do happen though.

Pujara certainly showing his class and Clark batting with great patience. Be nice to win a toss and bat first.

Thanks goodness the Worcester commentator understands cricket. You could always just watch the feed on mute. Personally I find his commentary interesting and informative when I can’t get to the match.

Nothing wrong with that!😉 Or commentating on football😀 I certainly didn’t mean it to reflect on him badly, just that he wouldn’t have as much in depth knowledge of the nuances of the game as someone who’s played at a higher level.

2 bowling points which is 2 more than last week but it looks as if our first innings batting is going to form. What’s the betting we’ll have to follow on tomorrow and then bat for 2 days to save the game? Yawn 🥱

No it’s fine Joe👍. I guess the BBC commentary teams across the country will have a mix of ex-players but more commonly people with broadcasting experience rather than playing at a high level.

Alsop and the rest can bat for a long time. Job done. Follow on saved.

Joe, What’s the betting we’ll have to follow on tomorrow and then bat for 2 days to save the game? Yawn 🥱That outcome can only occur if Pujara bats the bulk of tomorrow, where one or two Sussex batters support him and then in the second innings, Haines scores another double hundred and we gain a further fighting draw. Problem being, miracles don't grow on trees, unless they come in twos.

There can’t be many who think we can salvage a draw from this game are there?
