New Zealand come to Hove to play our young side. Can we expect a mauling from the world champions or will there be some surprises? Over to you.

I doubt we’ll field a particularly competitive team. These tour games are now just glorified net sessions with 14 players a side etc.

30 quid Joe. They won’t have Williamson, Conway, Boult or Southee. Wonder if Robinson will play.

I really wish County Clubs would look at their pricing structures... I very rarely have the time or desire to attend a whole day's play, but resent paying the full price even if I attend for a session or so... I'm sure the technology is in place (it certainly was when I went swimming as a kid with the coloured bracelets), and something like £12.50 a session would bring more numbers in I'm sure.

A good chance to have a look at some of these seniors we've got coming through. See if any of them can push the youth. There's a pair called Wright and Bopara who could be ones to look out for.
Given that it's now T20 season we may as well play whoever. That stuff ain't exactly taxing, which is why I strongly feel the structure could easily free up some room by playing T20 every other day. They don't mind playing 2 games in one day when it really matters.

I'm gonna break some news for the first time ever - Archer won't be playing, out for the season with a bad back. At least it's not the elbow.

I have news for you Sharkey and it will shock you rigid. I have it on very solid ground that not only will Wright and Bopara play but Ross Taylor and Scottie Styris will be turning out for the Kiwis too. And, not only that, but Richard Hadlee and Imran Khan will be umping. I'm prepared to put a single figure wager on it too, that's how confident I am.
Hopefully Khan and Hadlee prefer a longer game than Blackie trigger finger Blackwell.

Any sign of Wright, Bopara, Styris, Taylor, Khan and Hadlee the occasionally real Gordy?
