Really?? Specialist batting stops at 3. We brooks in Finn out at no time have we played 2 fit strike bowlers and we play 2 spinners.Finn is fit so to play him and brooks to bowl and make it look like we want to at least to Win a game. After his injury Finn isn’t fit enough for a 4 day game. I agree with liquid it’s probably the best line-up looking at the squad. Hopefully Archie and Rawlins can do some damage on the 4th day as weather is good and set fair. 97/2 at lunch. |

Despite the disappointment of Friday and against my better judgement I travelled up the M5 and am at the ground.
Shaky start, Alsop dropped in the first over and out soon after. Haines never got going.
Clark looked solid from ball one, got bogged down before lunch. Carter took sometime to settle, but by lunch was looking the more confident of the two.
Neser and Hogan both bowled well. Hopefully, we can build on this solid foundation.

Rawlins is going to get done for decent soon, if he hasn’t already. Spent ages looking at the stumps then the umpire and then the stumps again before reluctantly trudging off.

You can shut up as well Slurrey Steve, Rawlins is really bright, but sometimes the lights go out.

Sussex will be lucky to reach 250 now Lenham is out and the new ball is on the rampage.
Hopefully, Carter will get his richly deserved 100.
