I think you meant Jack Carson and I agree he would have been very useful on this track. He must be close to a return? Delray didn’t look as his bat this time because he didn’t hit it!! Spot on Joe, Carter, Carson why are they all so similar? As you say, he must be close to returning from injury. Oh that makes sense. It's down to the defective bat when it flies 50 foot in the air off a top edge when it was supposed to be flying out the ground. Although fair play one of his more responsible approaches to batting yesterday. Ibrahim also gave the Umpire a stare when he was given out suggesting he hadn't hit it. If anyone looked to get a raw deal, it was Alsop who seemed to be on the end of another harsh LBW, although I haven't seen a replay yet so I maybe doing the Umpire a disservice.

You are right liquid when Pujara gets back that’s a decent top 6. Any news on the other Ollie and his back?

Archibald's our best bowler. Real talent, I can tell with my eyes.
I'm not sure we're gonna win a game in the Champ this year unless we address the seam bowling issue. Couple of decent young ones coming through yes, but not on a level with the young bats to be brutally honest.
Why is it okay to bring in numerous OS at short notice for T20 but not one for the Champ right now? Or two weeks ago actually. It's as if Andrew & Greenfield just don't care about the longer form. Yeah, newsflash Frawdy, where ya been ya dumb-ass.

Why no Big Mac? He'd have tested out the pitch and a few chins maybe. Does he not play longer form? Did he have somewhere to be? Are the management not capable of a little light bulb moment? Even one staring them right in the chops.

An oh too familiar look about the Sussex bowling attack. Just cannot see them bowling Glamorgan out once, let alone twice.
It is one thing being a toothless attack, another completely being a toothless attack with plenty of four balls gifted to the opposition.
Lenham the one exception, stemmed the flow of runs and challenged the batsmen.
Will need to bat well second time around to secure a draw.
Have we ever gone a whole season without winning a County Championship Match?

At least Clark, Haines, Ibrahim and Lenham managed to keep it tight. The rest of the bowling was absolute rubbish!

Seifert drops a sitter off Hunt with Glamorgan on 304-1.
Starting to become reminiscent of Canterbury in August 2020, when Kent racked up 530 for 1 declared.

I remember it was the same sort of conditions for that match too. I think it’ll be a case of when they declare and whether we can save the game from there. A draw is looking like the only way to take more points from the game but they are odds on favourites now.

The Sussex approach to overseas wicket keepers this season has been mind baffling. They should be developing one of the home grown talents. Young keepers need to play in all formats, make mistakes and get better. Waste of Sarah Taylor's time unless Sussex change their approach on this.
