My XI would be Alsop, Haines (c), Clark, Seifert wk, Carter, Ibrahim, Lenham, Brooks, Finn, Crocombe, Hunt.
Aaron Beard has returned to Essex. Ollie Robinson is out until mid-August and so Brook and Finn are likely to come in. Seifert replaces Pujara who is unavailable because he is on international duty. Lenham took four wickets and scored a career best 49 in the same game. Crocombe took four wickets. There was also career bests also for Tom Clark and Ollie Carter. It is likely to come down to a straight choice between Dan Ibrahim and Delray Rawlins for the final spot.

Has it not been blatantly obvious this season, especially since we heard Robinson is out again, that we desperately need an OS bowler? I don't get what these people are seeing.

Who knows? With any luck we may have an overseas coach next season. We certainly can’t carry on as we are.

Bit surprised H-P isn't in this squad actually, if Orr's a doubt. Reckon he could open, looks pretty solid, better suited to this form. Scored 90 odd at 3 for Derby last year I think. Oh well, hopefully Orr's cold has passed.
Now let's turn these Welshies over.

I disagree Ash, like the look of this side. Think Salisbury has nailed the balance. Not really sure of the need for the loan ahead of Finn but anyway, time will tell. Glad we're batting first with two spinners, gotta make it count.

He we go again! Sussex 29-2. Both Haines and Alsop out cheaply. Without Pujara we're in trouble.

We brooks in Finn out at no time have we played 2 fit strike bowlers and we play 2 spinners.Finn is fit so to play him and brooks to bowl and make it look like we want to at least to Win a game.

Look beyond the squad and there's what? Coles? H-P? Myra? I think we should have asked Big Mac to stay on a few more days personally. Anyway, best team available pretty much, I really like the balance. I'd have probably had the OS ahead of Carter mind. Couple of big fish gone, unfortunately. Spinner on after 11, something in that maybe - we got two. Settling in with Pope & Lees on the big box, Clark & Carter on the little box, looking good so far. Where's the waitress?

Superb. Anyone who can't see that Juice is a player is a fool. As for Clark, looks so solid, getting better and better. Was a highly thought of prospect at 18, didn't do much for 3 years, now this. Another big lesson for Sussex there - don't be releasing players at 19/20.
As for the feed, another one that puts ours to shame. I'm no computer guy but I know it ain't difficult to have a decent stream.
Fly high Sussex and say no to loans, we don't need them.
