We should have Pujara back for this one and Robinson was seen bowling in the nets recently so maybe him too which would be a huge bonus. Garton is now fit although his bowling was under par in the Blast.
We are currently 7th with 79 points, 9 behind Durham in 6th. Leicestershire are 8th with 53.
Haines (c) Orr Pujara Alsop Carter (wkt) Ibrahim (Clark if fit) Rawlins Garton Robinson (Hunt) Lenham Finn

Garton just needs to bowl, simple. They're being way too cautious. He'd be at full pelt now if we'd have handled him properly. Get Shami in for old man Finn and we're good, real good. Think Pujara is 4 for us. One spinner.

By the way, this is our biggest game of the season. We can still win promotion. Somebody please tell Andrew. If we don't sign an OS for this you people need to understand the truth about Andrew and the format we much prefer.

Will your mob try to extend the loan deal of Jack Brooks as he bowled so well in that Derbyshire 2nd inns.
Josh Phillippe will play against the Foxes won’t he instead of Rizwan.

Err, I'm not being hilarious but where's Shami? Siraj? Bumrah? Ishant at least?
We're not gonna bowl anyone out. You need to bowl teams out, most of the time. Nobody's taking this seriously.
I really hope we win the toss because scoreboard pressure may be our best bowler.

And no Brazilians groundsman. I'm not saying we need to go German but French maybe.

At last. Win the toss win the game on a Hove road. Shouldn't be like that but most other things are wrong so this may as well be.
Get 5 plus and watch SP weave his magic. He's quite the entertainer.

Christ why don't we just play Garton? He's bowling for the 2s. He'd be fit by now if they hadn't been so wet. Bowlers get fit by bowling, like he is in another game.

A great start. This match could become a run-fest given the excellent batting conditions. Just hope Haines recovers from his injury. Anyone know the problem? At lunch: Sussex 138-0 (Orr 62*)www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/scorecard/ECKO53047

At lunch: Sussex 138-0 (Orr 62*)www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/scorecard/ECKO53047Looked as if he got hit on the wrist, had some treatment on the field from the physio and carried on but went off half way through the next over.
