Better get some International bowlers for your international pitch Salisbury cos 1564-14 is not watchable. Could have got one as well. Don't know if anybody's mentioned that. I don't mind the good pitch thing as a rule but it ain't fair to ask 2 very part time spinners and 2 20 year old rookies to bowl on something only Waqar & Wasim can get wickets on. It's also very boring and we'll also never win. Contemplate those three things Salisbury. If they just left some grass on, the new ball would talk, then it would flatten out, then you rely on wear & tear. It'd still be a good pitch. At least I've finally heard some method for the madness. Sounds like he knows what he wants to do, but is it realistic? I don't think so, not with this attack.
Chawla would have won us this game. He's a better bowler than any spinner in county cricket even without playing for 2 years.

The partnership of 477 between Ackermann and Mulder is the second highest of all time in the CC.

Just looking at the bowling averages!! Excluding run outs, we have taken 104 wickets in 9 completed matches. That equates to a fraction over 11.5 per match. Excluding Robinson and Brooks who have each only played twice, out of our established recognised bowlers none average under 40 and the best strike rate is 79.2. Truly concerning. The other interesting stat is only two players have featured in all nine matches. If there were any doubt the numbers tell the story.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/62176878Surely if these rapscalions can afford an overseas bowler we can. There's much more gold in Sussex, plus you can have a nice day out on the beach without having a load of boat people trampling over your picnic before absconding to the nearest takeaway or taxi rank. Come on Sussex, why can't we try and compete like everyone else does? Are we really that poor cos if so we may as well be minor counties. It really doesn't suit the county to have a skint cricket club. Everything else is through the roof. Get with the game or f$#k off Andrew. And take that sock puppet Greenfield with you. Hater alert. Should have put that first really.
