The fact that the Sussex media haven’t made much of Robinsons return makes me question whether he’ll play or not. Perhaps it’s just a step towards playing? He traveled to Lords and was bowling in the warm-ups but didn’t play. They may have named him because we’ve got another injury just to make the numbers up? I suspect you could be right. |

Well I count 4 batsman including Carter. Short on batsman, short on bowlers, actual bowlers, all season.

Are we still a professional club? No we're a minor county now. No such thing as minor counties. This game should be a real test to see where these young lads are in their progress. Another unfortunate injury to an in form player certainly hasnt helped but if Robbo is allowed to play by the ECB that should make a big difference to our attack. |

The 4 day squad is so light it’s embarrassing. Do something about it Andrew or we’ll lose more. Two injuries to batsman and we have to play another bowler & two bowling trialists are putting in better performances than our bench strength with contracts!! |

What's the point of signing Finn on a huge contract(£0000's) to play all formats knowing he's got a long
standing knee problem and won't be able to play?
Surely, low salary boosted by game time?
The way to go for older players with an injury history?
It's a club side. Well done salisbury & kirtley.
Some of these are 2nd raters in the Sussex league these days. Not the fearsome up and coming stars of tomorrow.

What is already clear is that Robinson is a class act. He is able to set batters up with his control of the ball. Add to that his bounce.
We have missed this.
