Specialist batting seems to look a bit thin, but plenty who can bat.
Orr, Haines, Alsop, Clark….
…and then? Rawlins or Coles at 5 as batsmen? Carter at 6…then can we pick FHP as a fourth seamer? Can he bowl enough? Would like to see Ashraf at 7, FHP at 8, Carson, Crocombe and Currie.

That's why I have 6 bowlers Ash, cos of Sauce. Juice is a much better bat that Coles Means Goals or Delboy. Your man Ash averages 30 odd in Tests so reckon he's good at 7 too.

Ah yes, you’ve gone for Simpson at 5, then the 2 all rounders. Yep. Or your team. Or CP's, which is about the same. Whichever way you look at it we should bat down to 8/9 and have 6 bowling options minimum. It's a good team, looking forward to it. Real shame we're not in the mix. I believe this team should be and would be had we signed an OS like this fella when it was badly needed. As usual, really struggling to understand the logic from the Doc and the Money Man. |
