Sussex bowling is absolute garbage whoever picks these teams should be held to account Carter should have been played as a batsman he is averaging over 40 brainless selections from a brainless club sack the lot of them and start again 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

As an outsider looking at Sussex you need an experienced coach.
Offer GF the job or Paul Farbrace.
Get a good overseas seam bowler in and Pujara back
as captain. You guys said he done a good job as
skipper in the Royal London cup.
Amar Virdi is looking to leave us. He is a good spinner
who would work well with Carson. Much better bowler
than Cokes, Rawlins and Lenham.
If you get an experienced coach in you are more likely
to attract players.

Whoever wrote todays match report said Sussex’s bowling was anodyne, I looked it up, the dictionary definition is ‘not likely to cause offence or disagreement and somewhat dull’

Apart from Currie our bowling just wasn't good enough. The Glamorgan commentator said it; and he is right. When will Kirtley man up and do an end of day interview. Poor poor accountability. He has to go, but unfortunately he is surrounded by his old mates and influencers. Something smells bad at Sussex. Andrew needs to sort it out, he has no past Sussex baggage. When you think there is reason for optimism, the numerous doubts creep in due to this season's management incompetence. |

A perfect summary from devonexile, the club is rotten to the core - from top to bottom. Here’s the latest little off-field anecdote….today was the former players gathering - anyone else know that? Sadly only 15 former players turned up - but can you blame them? Anyway, apparently, having been invited along for the event, they were then charged for their drinks.

I dunno, I like the sound of Cokes - he sounds energetic, get him in. Everybody knows what the numerous problems are, even other county fans it's that obvious. The worse thing about it all is the club tell us nothing. It's highly unprofessional and highly disrespectful. Filby needs to do the right thing, presuming he can. If he doesn't it falls on him. I'd like to know if he thinks this debacle is tolerable. I'd like to just ask him who our coach is. Is he on the Inner Circle message board? I'd also like to ask Gordy if the 5 (10) year plan still looks rosy but he's nowhere to be seen. It seems to have hit a bump or two. |

FHP and Tear not playing today as unwell. Carter has the gloves and Rawlins on for FHP but presumably can’t bowl.

No communication from the club at all about the absentees. They are more interested in 1st Central renewing their sponsorship.
Everything about this club stinks at the moment. Management, coaching, recruitment, communication, live stream……..etc etc
