Should really flag that to the Bowling and Keeping Coaches, if we knew who they were. You still tracking the no ball count?

Should really flag that to the Bowling and Keeping Coaches, if we knew who they were. You still tracking the no ball count? Kirtley and Taylor. Thick as thieves. Wonder what they talk about when they walk around the boundary. Both show ponies to some extent. 6 keepers used this season. Loads of bowlers of 1 description or another. Flower usually busy giving throw downs in the nets; sets a good example.

Blimey, invitations to renew membership for 2023 are coming thick and fast, faster than Sussex can take wickets! I received one at 12 Midday and another one 12.30, only a few days after the first one was received 24 hours after our crushing CC defeat. If only the same sense of urgency was being applied to all matters cricket-related....

Ashraf not given the new ball. Correct decision by Haines.

This game is turning into a close contest between Glamorgan and the weather

Why is Clarke bowling? Get Carson back on. This game has all the feeling of an end of season Sussex farce.

It gets stranger. Salisbury situation appears on BBC website before the Sussex website. Weird.

Itβs all as clear as mud now then eh?
It really is a bad look that important Sussex news gets leaked before Sussex make a statement.

Why have Sussex sat on this news for so long without informing itβs supporters that our head coach is no longer in charge
Utterly bizarre. Not sure any other professional sporting club in the world would do that.

Not sure any other professional sporting club in the world would do that. Sussex are an absolute shambles both on and off the pitch someone should surely be held to account for this mess π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘

Rob Andrew was asked about Salisbury at the recent members forum, but mumbled something fairly sotto voce, probably deliberately, and no one opted to follow up with another question. He certainly appeared keen to move along and not to address the matter with any clarity. Maybe he didn't want to allow it to open out into broader follow-up questions about the running of the cricketing side of the club. Well, they are going to have to be addressed some time soon.

The Salisbury news is darker than I could have imagined. The sh*te could really hit the fan if others haven't shown any duty of care. Something smells pretty bad here. Back to the on field stuff; Sussex will have to bat well to frustrate Glamorgan. As Harmes says Flower has improved the batting. Have you noticed he doesn't include Carter in that list. Hasn't forgiven Carter for displacing Brown. Brown treated terribly by Sussex; and I wont forget the crass comments made by Salisbury at the end of season open meeting. Bet Brown is glad he's gone now; as this latest dark story unfolds.
