Very bad Andrew, Filby, the lot of them. Who has a relationship with someone who doesn't talk. Most despicably secretive club I've ever known. And who says 'part of the business'? What *** business. Very strange wording. Freaks running the show, really is.
Cannot believe Glammy only have three slips given the situation. Haines clearly isn't the only numb-nut on display.
Come on Orr. It's only him & several other youngsters keeping me on board at the moment.

Sussex first innings bowling against the opposition in the County Championship this season...
534-9 dec, 505-8 dec, 491, 223, 358, 210, 494, 551-8 dec, 756-4 dec, 485, 240, 438-5 dec, 459-7 dec, 533-9 dec.
So in 14 attempts, we have failed on 11 occasions to keep the opponents below 350, have failed on 10 occasions to keep them below 400 and on 8 occasions had a score of 485 runs or more taken off our bowling attack. In exactly half of those innings we have been unable to take ten wickets.
Of the three occasions we bowled the opposition out for between 210 and 240, Ollie Robinson played in two matches although bowled just one over in the first and Aaron Beard played in two taking three wickets in both matches.
On the two occasions we secured first innings leads, we were unable to repeat the feat and get a second haul of ten wickets.
Hardly surprising we are second bottom of the Table. More surprising is our Head Coach according to the BBC report has been placed on gardening leave due to the handling of off spinner Jack Carson, a player who didn't even feature until September this season, yet the above abysmal record combined with just two wins in almost two seasons in first class cricket doesn't apparently warrant any action.

A rare interview with our new leader Kirtley. Is he a drama queen? Made a big fuss, over what must have been a five minute discussion with Glamorgan and umpires to allow Carter to keep. Please, just get on with it. It may be just me but he inspires no confidence and needs to go. Just look at all the bowlers we have entertained at Sussex this season. Yes, there may have been some injuries but this allowed him by luck to unearth Currie and Karvales. If Kirtley remains then Sussex have a big problem.

Andrew, Greenfield, Kirtley and Salisbury absolutely must go. I would appoint Flower as Head Coach.

So Kirtley's been picking the team, why's he been a no-show until now? Maybe he's had a non cricketing falling out with Carter. How can a 50 year old have a non cricketing falling out with a 21 year old? What did Carson do goose his daughter? Intriguing language used by whoever is relaying the information from Sussex, which surprise surprise, nobody knows. Andrew? Filby? The pathway guy of multiple jobs? Kirtley himself? The guy in the burger van? Who knows.
I've been wondering who else in sport would use language like 'not in the business anymore' to describe a person being removed from their job & all I can think of is the Mafia in 1970s New York boxing. I'd welcome them, we'd definitely win a few games. Fat Tony in the slips, Jonny Tight Lips in the gully. If the Hitman knows where those positions are.

Based on the above Liquid, I am not sure even the full compliment of our two overseas will be enough? Adrian Harms mentioned on several occasions today that Sean Hunt is now our leading red ball wicket taker. He has a meagre 18 to his name. In fact we have only five who have a tally in double figures, although Robinson and Currie probably would have taken more if they had played more games. Hopefully the experiment with our latest overseas, whose two wickets for 310 runs at 5.74 per over, have shown that he is not the answer. We need the two overseas and some smart domestic recruitment, although if we can't convince a promising young wicketkeeper batsman that a short move to a neighbouring county is a better option than relocating to the other side of the country then I am not holding out a lot of hope.

Devon, Robinson is 24 in Dec. Durham gave him a T20 opportunity and he has kicked on from there. Good luck to him. Sussex have illusions of grandeur;Rizwan,Philippe and Seifert. All good cricketers but not what is needed for the future of Sussex all format cricket. Whoever rights a book about our 2022 season has huge amounts of material to illustrate the incompetence of the current management; Flower excluded. Our only hope is management change, and then recruitment. This should begin latest next week.

Some interesting points raised in that Kirtley interview. Currie rested for the Durham game (easy enough to just spit it out, but first time we have heard it). Seemed very uncomfortable about the Currie contract question. What's the rule on FHP and Tear being allowed to bat in this match? He mumbled something about being 5 wickets down....? He mentioned contract negotiations, but because we have no transparency, we are left to guess. So i am going to do that, it is probably Rawlins, Karvelas Currie.... anyone else? I imagine press box at Hove might be a bit fuller than normal today, the Tabloids can smell a story so we will have a few hacks come looking...

Good, EIE...IO. The more hacks & general investigations at this club the better. The 'leaders' need to be outed for their horrific disregard of supporters & pro cricket itself. Just need enough condemnation to leave them with no choice.
It is imperative that Andrew & Co go. That rhymed but with a nasty undercurrent.
Come on lads, save this game.

Oh it's not EIEIO, that ruined that joke, it's a broad. American women are more than welcome here too. Spread the word to America Sussex a broad.

252/8. Excellent innings from Tear ended with one that I thought might be missing leg, then Carson's stumps rearranged first ball.

At least we get something out of this game: runs for Tear and for Haines. That century could be very helpful for Haines when it comes to selecting the Lions squad for this winter.

Looks like we're going for the win. 125 all out, Carson 7-37 anyone?
Our batting is brilliant. We have so much quality there & plenty coming through, two or three having already been dipped in & done well. But they're constantly thinking even if we do score big we're still not gonna win. Or they're constantly chasing big totals. It's not good for the brain & it's not good for the skipper either. No wonder he's been left floundering, having to captain our attack all year.
This side needs no other signings other than two OS bowlers - Ishant & Yadav for me. Experienced, available all year, probably, & both good in England. Nobody else needed, other than the complete clear out of the office & coaching staff, barring Flower.
