A lead of 175 would be very useful I'd be content with a lead of 150 on this wicket but 175 would be very useful indeed. |

James Coles has had a lot of praise and rightly so. It’s been a while since he fully engaged his brain though. Another dippy dismissal, when big runs were there for the taking.

Middlesex and Yorkshire have both pretty much won , so we need to get this over the line tomorrow. If they both win their matches, a draw will still put us beyond catching distance from Middlesex and still leave us 12 points clear of Yorkshire with one to play. Having said that, I still believe we will do what we need to do tomorrow to secure our eighth win of the season. It does make a mockery of the points system, when a team that wins 7 out of it's first twelve matches, are still having to look over their shoulder at their two closest rivals who have only won four. |

We did it!! Wonderful stuff! Well played lads, Crocombe is a revelation, that's easily the best I've ever seen from him - accurate and hostile. How Foreman didn't get a wicket is a mystery, he bowled beautifully. I'll be wandering round grinning for the rest of the day.
