Jon Lewis, who's coaching at Hurstpierpoint College, has just tweeted that George Garton hit 185 not out today.

Garton is a fantastic prospect and his record at Under 15-17 level is second to none with 738 runs @ 31 and 77 wickets @ 22 in the last three years. For me he is a far better prospect than Sam Grant, Tim Moses, Abidine Sakande and Stuart Whittingham. In Collard, Doram, Garton, Haines and Jenner Jon Lewis has some fantastic prospects to work with.

Some very encouraging early season performances from the girls: sussexwomen.ecbpc1.com/website/results/2520492Burt 75 off 57 balls Harris 53* Harman 3-33 Bertwistle 2-5 Looking at the team where are Wadey, Bourne, Streets and B Beadle? No disrespect to D'Orseano, Harvey, Saunders and Tagg but those four are better. After this performance you could argue a case for Robinson replacing Monk too. Sussex Under 15s lost despite 83 off 85 balls from Ella Wadey.

Who is Hoadley, and is he any relation to someone of the same name who was on the staff a few years back?

Joe, do you know why George Garton hasn't featured for Sussex Seconds this season, while the other three lads have had game time.
