I'm afraid or should I say glad I was only there for the Sunday. That's the reason I looked up the Notts report. Always good to hear both sides of the story. I managed to listen to a lot of the commentary on the BBC. My thoughts from that and my attendance on the Sunday brought me to my conclusion Sussex were outplayed. Seems to me that both at Trent Bridge which I attended and at Horsham Notts were the better side. I cannot see how with what looks on paper to be a top three side they have struggled in both forms of cricket so far this season. The Notts bowling line up seems to be the worst in the division. Having a spin bowling coach in Keedy and no real spinners to coach at Notts he did well for an office worker!
I Wonder if Mike Newell will be ousted at the end of the season as it seems with arrival of Peter Moores Notts seem to be a much improved team.
