Can't see anywhere why Ed Joyce isn't playing, is it a minor injury does anyone know?

Can't see anywhere why Ed Joyce isn't playing, is it a minor injury does anyone know? According to David Hopps at Cricinfo ". ..Sussex's captain Ed Joyce pulled out an hour before the start with a back injury..."

BBC Weather has now revised its Worcester forecast to light cloud pretty continuously.

This might be one of the most important days of the season. If we can wind up ahead by a decent margin, we can be positive. If we fall short, the writing may be on the wall.

BBC Weather has now revised its Worcester forecast to light cloud pretty continuously. Increasingly, it seems the BBC Weather tells you what is happening now rather than what might happen. They seem to revise it at the last minute on a regular basis, which is not especially useful.

This website www.worldweatheronline.com/Worcester-weather/Worcestershire/GB.aspxcan be more accurate, particularly when you consider the degree of localisation involved.

What's happened to Nashy? Nash retiring hurt on 38 after a hit on the helmet from a Morris short ball. He walks off unaided after having treatment. Brown the new man (from Sussex Twitter)

I'd be interested to know if anyone knows whether Ajmal is getting any turn. Do we have to fear batting fourth (more than we might normally)?

All sorts of cliffhangers at tea: Wright just two runs away from his first 1000 run season, 15 runs away from batting points, the uncertainty over Nash's return.
Wright's has been a tremendous innings, whatever the outcome, full of character. 23 balls before scoring, then 57 off 70 and adjusting from Nash's departure to take the leading role with Brown. Leadership by example.

We are navigating the waters of uncharted territory, it feels - ahead of the opposition with 7 wickets remaining. Let's hope we don't sink now. I dare not making any positive comments because we all know what happens. Let's hope Nash can come back out to bat if these two are separated. I almost feel like having an afternoon beer, but I really must get on with some work.

Dark, wind getting up, looks like a deluge of yesterdays proportions heading in. If so that will be it for the night. Rain still holding off at the moment can but hope the heavy black clouds pass by and some sunshine follows it in. Not many locals left on site though.
