I've often been told that KP is very special - but I didn't realise he was that important.

He came home for the birth of his daughter. I think we can allow him that.

Yeah well don't be so presumptuous Flash, he's having another damn kid. He's one of these freaks who likes weird names so I feel sorry for the little buggar already.
I guess God isn't doing too well yet over Oz, otherwise it would be plastered all over here. He better shape up by April.

Special conditions, purpose-built sports grounds and all the rest of it, but it is a magnificent feat of sports marketing to attract crowds of over 70, 000 to a domestic cricket match: Melbourne Stars v Melbourne Renegades

And what a match, and what a way for Luke Wright to end his spell of less-than-sparkling form! 109 unbeaten off 63 balls, 11 4s and 4 6s. This time Pietersen had to watch from the dressing-room.

Yep, a fantastic knock from Luke. The media are ecstatic and bubbling at the mouth. Here is a typical write-up. Luke Wright is the MoMSensational chase from the Stars, Luke Wright almost won it single-handedly, blasting a 63-ball 109. There were small cameos from Maxwell and Handscomb, but it was a night to remember for the Sussex man. It was almost a chanceless knock, the 80,000+ record MCG crowd lapped every bit of it. Stars now have 4 points while Renegades stay on 2.
For Luke to achieve this feat in-front of over 80,000 crowd is quite something. Time to look up the record books and discover what other Englishman has equalled this. Days like this make you feel proud to be a Sussex supporter. Can't wait for the new season to begin. Just 96 days to go!! www.cricbuzz.com/live-cricket-scores/15113/mls-vs-mlr-16th-match-big-bash-league-2015-16A match report from 'Cricinfo'. www.espncricinfo.com/big-bash-league-2015-16/content/story/957265.html

ECB, take note; 81,000 crowd for a domestic T20 match. I don't know how the finances work out, but the Big Bash makes English T20 competitions look puny. At least they're now encouraging English players to play in these overseas T20s.

A rather esoteric view of Wright's 100 via 'youtube'. Is the video operator on LSD? Luke's leg side glance from well outside off-stump is an extraordinary manufacture. But, then anything goes in T20. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfXAVG7O9Mw

The reasons why Chris Gayle's remarks to reporter Mel McLaughlin were so offensive. soundcloud.com/abc_grandstand/the-press-room-scg-day-3Gayle's own comments on the controversy during the broadcast show how little he understands his own behaviour and continues to regard it as a joke. No doubt he'll carry on doing it, just as footballers will continue to take advantage of their temporary celebrity to harrass and to abuse.
