Whittingham? He's a first teamer now JB, 50 wickets. Nah, but not straight after this game you nut. Machan will be fine, he don't need no seconds game. Briggs and Beer together though, a bowl off, yes. Should have been that way from the off - and one day I may stop harping on about it too. Love the seconds. Salt and H-P are who I'm dreaming of now - cricket wise.

Latest against Hampshire Seconds at Horsham today: Sussex 264-6 (Salt 70, Jenner 48, Beer 48). Doesn't look to be a very distinguished or experienced Hampshire team.

Beer conceeded less runs , bowled more maidens and got more wickets. ? Well yes but one wasn't way ahead of the other. ( Same amount of runs, 2 for a no ball )

Not really a fair contest without Tredwell, Burgoyne, Rippon and Dockrell.

I meant in the longer form really Joe. Looks like they were both class today. I don't doubt Briggs as a one-day bowler by the way.
Another win for the seconds then. They're on it. Their leader might be an analyst, or whatever, but they're winning so he could be a *** milkman for all I care.

Sorry, that's how it was written on the Twitter feed. It's Jofra Archer, 21 year old trialist from Barbados.

Tie and a loss I believe. Not many runs but some for Salt and Beer. I don't know how vinegar and peanuts did. Cachopa couldn't score in a Eurovision Thong Contest after party. If we go in with a preconceived plan to play him in our T20 team we are stupid - always play the form. There's at least a couple more seconds games for him to turn up in though, but how long's it been? Too long.
